Rooster's BBQ

Marty Marlow, champion pitmaster & KCBS Certified BBQ Judge, is the owner & lead pitmaster for a nationally sponsored BBQ team on the KCBS Master Series Circuit “Rooster’s Competition BBQ Team.”

Marty is a Wounded Warrior Project Alumni and 100% Permanent and Total Disabled Veteran from the Iraq and Afghan war. He finds peace in Competition BBQ and providing the best BBQ products the market can buy.

Marty grew up in Eastern North Carolina where cooking whole hog on the weekend was just his family’s way of life. He joined the military in the early 90’s, & traveled the world (Central & South America, Europe, Middle East, & Africa) experiencing unique foods that each country had to offer. Marty moved to Colorado in 2004 when he settled down and begin his BBQ Journey in the Rocky Mountains.
